Got some lovely gifts, very very happy with holiday booty. Received a bugle, a magnifying glass, a tiny hourglass, and twelve works of Shakespeare. What frabjous occurrences!
Saturday (yesterday) spent in working, did a show for a little girl of three years old. Did some singing and what not, but no magic and my hoop is under renovation. I am painting it. So my show was greatly abbreviated, and I made some truly fantastic balloon animals. Got the knack to invent when a child calls upon some new latex-genetic-mutation to be called into existence.
Ran into Accordion yesterday at H & M, and the day before at Mix, where he had purchased a 'Nutty Professor' smoothie. It was extraordinarily thick, the kind of smoothie that requires one to cross ones eyes and make light squeaking noises.
(me and my actual accordion, not the person)
After the show I met up with Flower, Glinda, and two of Flower's Inmates. We went first to Cotton On to stand around, and then Gnat-hand showed up. After more standing around we gathered up our limbs to Cul De Sac. Here, Flower & I watched her inmates and Glinda eat. After two bloodies Flower & I headed to Goccia.
Goccia doesn't have a happy-hour, but there is delightful food for consumption. So Flower feasted upon small and satisfying foods. I sold my appetite, but what remains is vegetarian and took delight in the miniscule mouthfuls, wide glinting plates, and unnecessarily symmetrical food. I was most entertained by the claim of the keeper behind the mood-lit counter when he claimed that no bloody could best him, and spake of the way they are created at Balalaika.
I hope to be the judge of any rivalry, as I informed Flower.
After Goccia we headed for a 'proper supper' at the Foreign Correspondence Club. Tis the kind of place that has newspaper clippings headed with 'The Japs Attack' and is decorated with elderly gentlemen addressing each other as 'Old Bean' and 'Chap'. Supper consisted of three spoonfuls of soup and a dejected waiter. (Do you want bread? / Do I?!!!!... No.)
Balalaika, Buddha Lounge, after. Met some lovely riff-raff who I hadn't seen in a good while, and then proceeded to mojito ourselves. After some really very entertaining spills, thrills and daffodils I headed on homewards.
Twas indeed a good saturday, and today is sunday. I doubt that I will go out tonight, I must attend to the painting of my hoop. I'm hoop-dancing tomorrow and I mayhaps shall go with Captain Contemporary, I hope as yet to meet Othello there. I left my hoodie there two weeks afore tomorrow, and hope he has claimed it.
Watching 'The Fellowship Of The Ring'. JRR gave great imagination, fascination and procrastination to generation upon generation.
Turrah.
Jhonnie Cat.
