Speak Friend & Enter

Well I reckon tonight shall be a good galavant.

Has been too long since I've been truly out & about, as in it has been around two days. I had hoped to crash at Glinda's, we shall see how this that and the other thing transpire. Hitting up balalaika for a bloody at eight and a half with Captain Contemporary (also rocks).

HKJ went most delightfully yesterday, Othello did a really very interesting trick of throwing two balls behind his back and continuing to juggle them after they'd been caught. I'd gotten some shoes which give about as much support as an apathetic sneeze, but they are good for hooping as they have no heel (or, really, anything else).
So I managed to do the trick I'e been hankering after for a while, which is a release-float in the air followed by kicking the hoop up over my head, and spinning it on a wrist/elbow catch on the other arm behind. It usually only works by fluke at the moment but is coming along much nicer after the re-shoeing. The old ones I'd wear for hooping were some fancy-pants leather boots (complete with pretentious label and shiny buckle) that didn't bend & were too heavy.

Captain Contemporary (also rocks) did a trick I had not seen before, one that consisted of plucking his shirt under one of the weighted juggling balls, causing it to bounce up into another arc. 'twas impressive, at least towards a hoop dancer such as myself. I can only juggle one object, but I can do it very fast and without much concern for modesty or the safety of others.
And a hoop is big, after all... if that can be any form of solace.

I believe many people are hitting up the scene tonight, Carniges is talked of on about the same level as 'The Promise Land' at this point. Going to need to get my this-and-that together.

Flower left yesterday to the deep disappointment of Glinda & myself, Jhonnie Cat. I worry as to her mental stability amongst her insane relations, then I realize that mental stability isn't fashionable nowadays so its not too much of a loss.

I hope to see Stickyfinger-Sister out and about tonight, feel as if I hadn't seem her in ages and she is such a delightful person. The best outfit I've seen her in (for going out, the magical jeans are the casual win, hands down) is the little black dress with the leopard blouse and shoes. Is it bad I remember things as such so clearly? I remember she had an important night of it in that outfit and so it may be mentally healthy to do a re-take. Although its great for any girl to look that good.

Beltbuckle is leaving to NZ soon permanently, yet I know he shall return to the big 852 in breaks as Towsh & Ruckus do. I haven't actually seen Ruckus or Towsh since they got back. I ought to pay my respects to their presence here in this abnormal city.

Turrah.

Jhonnie Cat.
